TallystickFor Internal Communication
Thanks for testing. This page covers what the app does and what we ask of you.
What the app does
Tallystick for Internal Communication puts a dollar value on the business result a communication initiative helped produce. You answer guided questions. The app does the math and turns it into a report you can print and hand to leadership.
The method is conservative by design. You set a contribution factor (the share of the result you credit to the communication initiative) and a confidence level in your data. Both cut the final number down. A smaller number you can defend is worth more than a big one you cannot.
What we ask of you
- Sign up through your invite link, with the invite code from your email.
- Run one measurement start to finish, on a real communication initiative if you can. Round numbers are fine. Skip anything confidential.
- Print the report at the end. The button is at the top of the report page.
- Tell us what tripped you. When something confuses you or blocks you, click Report a problem at the top of any screen and describe what you expected and what happened. Rough edges are exactly what we want to hear about.
The AI is optional
The app can estimate two numbers for you: what one unit of your result is worth, and what the communication initiative cost. Both estimates are optional. Type your own numbers instead if you have them. You can also edit any line of an AI estimate, and the report labels every figure as AI-assisted or entered by you.
Estimates are anchored to published sources, such as Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, plus what you type in. The report shows the reasoning and the arithmetic behind every number.
How your data is handled
Your measurements are stored in your account and stay there. When you ask for an AI estimate, the app sends what you typed to Anthropic, our AI provider, to produce it. Your data is not used to train AI models.
Complete details are in four documents linked at the bottom of every page: the Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy, and the Beta Agreement. The Beta Agreement is short. Read it before you start.
If you get stuck
Open Help for common fixes. If that does not solve it, click Report a problem.
